Conclusion
* I have a good level or knowledge of my subject area due to I’ve worked
during some years as an English teacher. I consider I handle grammar, vocabulary, and
the four skills with a high level of proficiency, which it is important because
I can transmit the knowledge in a correct way to the learners.
* I have respectful relationships with the students, that let them respect
the class and be motivated. There were rules since the moment I was before the
class, I consider that team work and respect let learners to have a clear way
to behave themselves and with the class, in general.
* I consider I have good classroom management skills because of that the
lessons begin and finish at the corresponding time, teaching the whole lesson.
Most of the students behave in a proper way.
* I have learned the theoretical part of the bachelor in Arts of English,
so it is important to have a place with students where to put it on practice. I
realized that it is completely different from practice when I read the theory
in the different courses UNAD offered for this program, however the practice
would be a defective process without the theory.
* Theory totally differs from practice, so I consider that both elements
have to work together for an effective learning and teaching process. In practice -in class-, a lot of experiences
can be learnt by both sides, teachers and learners.
* I consider one of my strengths in teaching English is my character
because I am patient and passionate when teaching. I consider that when someone
teaches any subject must love it, just in this way, it is possible to connect
learners with the area of knowledge.
